JAS, I am about ready to end a work assignment in 30 - 60 days. Even though I know I am not an old man (I'm in my young 60s), the world doesn't view age the same way. Jobs are tougher to find, opportunities in the workplace are harder to land. The world says, "getting old sucks...it's not for the faint of heart". "GOOD LUCK!!!"
If the Lord moves you, and if it occurs to any Christian brother or sister in the JA world, thanks in advance for any prayers posited before Almighty God on my behalf. Pray for work, financial sustaining, and God's will in the (near) days ahead.
Bills do not stop.
Bill collectors do not relax - in fact, they pounce when they sense any weakness.
Have you ever seen people who have been evicted from a house or apartment? All their personal belongings just thrown out in the front yard...family pictures and mementos, furniture, children's toys, books, equipment, etc...all just cast out and tumped into a heap on the driveway or the grass...or, depending on where you live, in the snow and ice...it is heart breaking and heart wrenching...
Fortunately, for the Believer, we can claim and proclaim:
Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
